another great party on

Its time again for the best party on the
block! On Sunday, September 14th, 2008
the 5th Annual J. R. Taylor Memorial
Bike Run & Tailgate Party will benefit
the “J.R. Taylor Memorial Bridge” to be
constructed in the Bethel Park Branch of
the Montour Trail at the
Clifton/McMurray Road crossing.
Pre-registration is just $35.00 per bike
and $5 additional for a rider; $40 per
bike and $5 for a rider the day of the
event. Sorry, but we will be unable to
accommodate you for breakfast unless you
have pre-registered!.
Bike
Run registration (ALL motorcycles are
welcome!) will begin at 8:30 a.m. at
Al’s Café in Bethel
Park with a continental breakfast where
all pre-registered bikers and riders
will receive a gift commemorating this
event. The bikes will leave at 10:00
a.m. and enjoy a 80-mile scenic escorted
ride through Washington county (with one
stop along the route) and conclude
with a family “tailgate” style party
(music, food, beer, pop, lots of door
prizes, raffles) in the parking lot of
Al’s. Even if you don’t ride, you are
invited to join us for the festivities
beginning at noon; there will be a
little something for everyone!
All guests for the
tailgate party only are $20; children
under 12 are free. We can not be
successful without the involvement of
local businesses and generous
individuals and organizations! One of
the highlights of the Bike Run and our
following tailgate party is the “Chinese
Auction and Raffle”. Please consider
supporting our efforts; your donation of
goods and services, gift
certificates, tickets for area
events/shows/ theatre, sporting
events/memorabilia, etc. will be a great
addition to our Chinese Auction and very
much appreciated! In addition, the
Montour Trail Council is a
not-for-profit 501(3) organization and
your gifts and donations are tax
deductible. (Tax ID# 25-1634718). All
contributions should be made payable to
the “Montour Trail Council, with
proceeds to be used by the Montour Trail
